KATHRYN HARLAN, under restraint in the early running, moved up with a rush in the last turn I of the field and, jumping in faultless fashion, held FAIR MAC safe in the final drive. The latter raced ! into a contending position after going one turn of the field, but blundered at several of the jumps, t UNAR finished gamely. LUCKY BUTTON raced APEX into defeat, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. APEX set a fast pace to the stretch and tired. CITATION closed ud ground. REBUKE was knocked back on the first turn, but came around the leaders and, finishing fast, was wearing the winner down at the end. BY JIMINY began slowly, but closed a gap and finished fast, SLIPPERY ELM ran well. SADDLE AND BOOTS tired. WELLFINDER quit after setting the pace to the far turn.
