Won driving; second and third the same. RUBY showed fine speed and, racing close up from the start, took a small lead in the stretch and gamely outstayed TREASURER. The latter came with a rush through the stretch and was going best at the end. GREEN GOLD set a fast pace and finished gamely, but tired after reaching the last eighth. LITTLE BLACK SHEEP raced forwardly all the way and finished gamely. JAMES B. BROWN ran well. ROYAL DICK was always outrun. Won easily; second and third driving. UNTRIED, showing the mo3t speed, raced into the lead with a rush and, making the pace fast, won in a canter. SWEET LADY stayed well up and, saving ground when coming into the stretch, enabled her to outfinish KINSMAN at the end. KINSMAN was ridden wide on the turns and was tiring la the last eighth. TROOPER showed the most speed to the stretch and held on gamely during the final drive. HYANPOM was hard ridden, ran well and finished gamely. HARLOCK showed speed, but quit in the stretch. GRACE DAUGHERTY ran well. WICKFORD refused to start and was left. The latter also made up ground and ran a good race, but was tiring at the finish. CHERRY TREE closed a big gap in the last quarter and finished with a rush. CAP ROCK finished well. YOSHIMI tired. FIGHTING COOK had to race wide on the turns, RUSTEM was away badly from an outer position and had scant chance, but made up soma ground, BHNCELAW quit after setting a fast early pace. ADONIS, showing much speed, set a good pace to the stretch and, after being headed by RUNQUOI in the last eighth, rallied and won going away. RUNQUOI ran a game race and raced into the lead; but was tiring through the last eighth. BROTHERLY LOVE began slowly, but closed a gap and finished fast. UNCLE VELO tired after racing well to the stretch, LIGHT ROSE showed some speed. BRILLIANT STAR tired. Scratched G4403Jouctt, 105. Overweights Brilliant Star, 1 pool.
