NEW AUTO ROUTE TO HAWTHORNE TRACK Heavy traffic and the poor condition of Cicero streets formed a handicap for thousands of motorists who attended the Hawthorne races Saturday. A few side streets were discovered, however, that take much of the curse off the run. The latest auto route leads west from the loop in Jackson boulevard to Ogden avenue. Bear left in Ogden to 4Dth avenue, two blocks beyond the viaduct. Turn left in 49th avenue to 32d place. Turn right to 52d avenue. Turn left to gate.
