CICERONIAN dashed to the front with a rush and, setting a good pace under slight restraint until in the final eighth, won going away. LUCKY GIRL slipped through next to the inside rail and outgamed BILLS LUCK in the final drive. The latter began slowly and was as good as left, but closed a big gap and tired in the last sixteenth. ASSYRIAN QUEEN showed the most early speed and made a fast finish. SOME BABY was in a jam at the start and was crowded back and pulled up, then closed a big gap. The others were always outpaced. KINGS COURT, running in improved form, took the lead quickly and, setting a fast pace, withstood repeated challenges from DELLAHM, but tired and just lasted long enough to win. The latter forced the pace all the way, but could not quite get up in a game finish. TROUBLER raced FLEA into defeat and finished well. The latter ran well to the last turn. GEORGE DUNCAN, in closa quarters next to the inner rail, finished gamely when clear. THE WAG had no mishaps. LADS LOVE ran a bad race under weak riding.
