Won handily; second and third driving LADY INEZ dwelt at the start, but closed a big gap and, coming fast through the stretch, passed DICKS DAUGHTER, off forwardly. raced into the lead on DICKS DAUGHTER and won going away. the last turn and held on resolutely in the final drive. KORK ran well and had no mishaps. DIAMOND DICK finished fast. ALLIE OCHS followed the leaders under restraint on the inside until rounding the bust turn, but could never secure a clear course. ESQUIRE quit after going three-quarters. WILD HEATHER quit on the stretch turn and was eased up in the final eighth.
