300 MILE RACE IS WON BY THOROUGHBRED MARE BURLINGTON, Vt., October 21. The 300-mile army endurance ride ended here yesterday. Of the twenty-one entries that started last Monday twelve were withdrawn along the course. The best time for the 300-mile contest, which was made in daily stages of sixty miles, was that of Aendetta, a thoroughbred owned by J. ATatson Webb, 45 hours IT minutes. Arendetta is by Allan-a-Dale and was bred by Major T. C. McDowell of Kentucky.
