BRIGHT FUTURE PREDICTED FOR MASTER ROBERT LEXINGTON, Ky., November 13. Master Robert, the son of Mazagan, owned by C. Bruce Head of Crestwood, is to stand next year at Howard Blacks farm in Franklin County. The stallion was shipped there from Waldeck Stud Farm a few days ago. Mr. Head, who was in Lexington today arranging for the reception next Friday at Tattersalls of the brood mares he will sell in the Kentucky Sales Companys auction on November 21, says that he has some highly-tried yearlings by Master Robert at Louisville. "This time next year Master Robert, by virtue of the performances of this crop, will stand higher in the public estimation than he does now," said Head. Five yearlings by Master Robert belonging to Head and five older horses belonging to J. O. and G. H. Keene, are to be shipped this week to Tijuana in charge of Dick Denny. Major Thomas C. McDowell today stated that he has sold off twenty-one of the horses he had in training and he still has thirty-three left with which to go to the races next year, unless he should dispose of some of these. He has fifteen at the track and seventeen turned out at Ashland Stud, where he has a band of seventeen weanlings that are considered by good judges to be as good as the best to be seen in this section, if they are not the best. The three outstanding colts are the bay colt by The Manager Ancient; the chestnut colt by Ballot Latonia, and the chestnut colt by Pennant America. The most striking three of the fillies are the chestnut filly by Manager Waite Miss Bellamy and the bay filly by Manager Waite Little Daughter.
