JUDGE MURPHY TO RETURN WEDNESDAY Judge Joseph A. Murphy, who has been in New Orleans the last ten days arranging for the opening of the winter racing on Thanksgiving Day at Jefferson Park, where he will preside as steward, left the Crescent City Monday on the limited for St. Louis, where he will be the guest of the Citizens Association at a banquet for the revival of racing. The judge will come to Chicago Wednesday, where he meets the various committees of the New "Washington Park Breeders Association enterprise. All details have been practically completed, with the finance committee ready to settle the letting of contracts. Scott C. Dyer, the club architect, has all the plans and specifications ready and the engineers are all set for action, so really there is nothing to do but complete the various chains, which judge Murphy is in a position to do.
