LACKAWANNA TO PORTO RICO Max Silvers and M. D. Suggs have sold the six-year-old chestnut mare, Lackawanna, by King James Lotowanna, by Trenton, to Robert Denton of San Juan, Porto Rico, and she has been shipped to the island. Silvers will race two horses in Cuba this winter. They are the five-year-old bay gelding Melvin, by Martinet Lady Esther, by Lord Esterling, and the three-year-old chestnut filly. Who Can Tell, by Dick Finnell Bright Star, by Star Shoot.
