COLOR ENDURANCE IN HORSES LONDON. England, November 8. The endurance of the gray color in horses is shown by Last Love, a gray colt, by Diamond Jubilee Las Ortigas, by Neapolis, which recently won a race in the Argentine. He traces back in tail female to the famous gray stallion Strathconan, which sired the gray Mrs. Allan, from the brown mare Alice. Mated with the chestnut horse Ismael. Mrs. Allen produced a gray filly in Louvetonno, Avhich in turn produced the gray Loberia to the chestnut EI Amigo. Loberias union Avith Neapolis a bay produced yet another gray iu Las Ortigas, and presumably her son Last LoA-e w ill continue to hand on the gray coat to many of his offspring when he sn-s to the stud.
