RACING AT FORT ERIE BUFFALO N T March 17 John H Madigin president of the Niagara Racing Association recently an ¬ nounced that there will be racing at the Fort Erie Out track this year This announcement effectively set at rest rumors that Fort Erie would bo among the Canadian tracks to aban ¬ don racing this year because of ex ¬ orbitant taxation Mr Madigin inti ¬ mated that there would be no profits for the owners of the track however unless the per diem tax is cut in half
