STORM DAMAGES HAWTHORNE The heavy windstorm of almost cyclonic intensity which swept over Chicago Saturday-unroofed a portion of the Hawthorne grandstand. This will be immediately repaired. The work of refurbishing the plant for spring racing is going along satisfactorily and should be completed in plenty of time for the opening of the meeting on June 30. « .
