JACK FAIRMAN WINS ANOTHER CORUMRUS. Ohio. April 2 4— Taking command at the rise of the barrier and leading to the end Jack Fairman. a previous winner at this meeting, accounted for the fifth and feature race at Rculah Park today. The gelding set a good pace for the entire race and was never seriously threatened. Loveliness, from the stable of J. 1. Messick. was second, with Friz capturing the least portion of the purse. Immediately following the running of the race jockey Majestic, who had the mount on the winner, was the recipient of a silver cui , presented by the management of the Doer-ham Restaudant, for which the purse was named. Despite a chilly wind another good-sized week-day crowd was in attendance and speculation was brisk. The majority of the winners paid good prices. Presiding judge F. W. Oerhardy announced today that the second meeting of the Capital City Racing Association would be held at Beulah Park commencing August 4, and would be of thirteen days duration. Trainer J. Durkin reports that the gelding Amaze pulled up a tritle sore after the seventh race yesterday and would be on the shelf for a week or so. Jockey L. Partington rode the first winner of his career when he piloted Miss Em to victory in the fourth race. R. F. Coppage. who races under the name of the Missouri Stable, has nine horses quartered at the track. This string wintered at Carruthersville. Mo., and all are reported to be in good condition. F. W. Ritsch, represented in the sixth race by Dairyman, claimed Mallowmot from T. Doyle for ,100.
