JUDGE SHELLEY OPENS OFFICE AT LEXINGTON LEXINGTON. Ky., April 21. -Judge William H. Shi Hey. racing sc-retary of the Kentucky Association, which is to open its annual spring meeting of ten days here next Saturday, has arrived from his heme in Louisville and opened his fiice at the race course. He was much impressed with the appearance of the historic plant, and was particularly enthusiastic about the new concrete trace for the accommodation of those who wish to observe the racing without going into the grandstand. Judge Shelley said that he is assured of a good card for the opening day. The stellar attraction for Saturday will be the Ashland Oaks, one mile, for three-year-old fillies.
