NO SPLIT OF RICH PIMUCO FUTURITY BALTIMORE, Md., Oct 18. The Maryland Jockey Club has decided that the Pimlico Futurity will be run as one race. This means that no matter how. many acceptances there will be no split There is no question but what this move will result in a much higher class race and incidentally a better contest, as it will bring together the cream of the two-year-olds. Heretofore some owners would take a chance of starting ordinary material in the hope that the race would be split, which of course would enhance their chances of getting some part of the rich prize.
