Won driving; second and third the ame. RAY JR. began quickly, saved ground when entering the stretch and, racing into the lead, was tiring slightly in the final sixteenth. STARBECK, on the outside most of the way, finished fast and just failed to get up In time to win. GRAEME, away slowly, came wide when entering the stretch, but finished fast and gaining under hard riding. POLVO closed a big gap and finished with a rash. PHIDIAS also made up much ground from a slow beginning. TELESCOPE set a good pace to the stretch and quit. Won driving; second and third the same. BOSH raced close up to the stretch and, with a clear course next to the inner rail, finished fast and got up in the closing strides to win drawing clear. CASH closed a gap after rounding the far turn . and, coming fast through the stretch, outgamed FLOWER SHOP at the finish. The latter began quickly and raced LITTLE HOPE into defeat, but tired after taking the lead. HOY was far back for the first three-quarters and closed a gap with a belated rush. LITTLE HOPE tired after setting a good pace to the stretch. ROMPING MARY and BLUE STONE showed speed, but tired. JEANNE BOWDRE sprinted into a clear lead in the first quarter and set n fast pace, but came slightly wide on the stretch turn and tired In the final sixteenth.
