Won driving; second and third the tame. FEYSUN, a forward contender from the start, moved up rapidly after entering the 6tretch and finished first, but crossed his opponents when passing the eighth-post, for which he was disqualified. RUNNINGWILD lacked early speed, but came with a belated rush on the outside in the final eighth and was wearing FEXSUN down in the closing strides. WAMPEE, forced to pull up on the backstrctcb, closed a gap and made a game finish, but tired slightly in the last thirty yards. COMIC ARTIST began very slowly and was ridden extremely wide, but finished with a rush. WATCH CHARM and GOLDFIELD raced each other into exhaustion in the early racing. BESSIE GERSHEL was crowded by RUNNING-WILD in the first eighth and stumbled and fell, FOREARM and DAY TRAP falling over her. KINGS BELLE set a fairly good pace under restraint to the last eighth, where she began to tire. SCARE CROW was prominent throughout, saved ground on the turns and had no mishaps. The latter set a good pace in the early racing and tired in the stretch. ZEALOT finished with a belated rush. HIGH CHIEF dwelt at the start and was weakly ridden. GOOD TIME quit in the final quarter. REPLY steadily improved her position under a good ride and, finishing, fast and gamely, wore NEGRINA down in the last ten yards to win drawing clear. NEGRINA set a fast pace in the early racing, but tired in the final drive. VARIATION lacked early speed and was forced to race wide all the way but finished gamely and outstayed CAVE WOMAN. The latter was hard ridden and tired after going a good half mile. JANET BLAIR quit early and ran a bad race. Scratched 74631Tolima, 109.
