LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS The riding of the young apprentice I. Parke has been one of the sensations of autumn racing in Kentucky. The climax of his wonderful saddle work came last week when he rode seventeen winners, ten in two consecutive days. As a result of this remarkable showing Parke is now second on the list of the thirty leaders for the year and only one winning mount behind the leader, P. Walls. Two other jockeys met with marked success last week, F. Watrous with fourteen and W. Martin with ten winners. The great Sande won fresh laurels Saturday when he rode Zev to victory in the International race and is the peer of them all when the records are considered from a percentage standpoint. In addition ne holds third place with 108 winning mounts to the 115 and 114 to the credit of Walls and Parke respectively. The records of the thirty leaders follow: Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp.
