Won driving; second and third the same. BEVERWYCK, away fast, raced into the lead quickly, and setting a good pace, held his advantage gamely in the final drive. DRIFTWOOD was always a forward contender, saved ground on the turns and finished gamely. WATER GIRL improved her position menacingly on the stretch turn, but tired when called on for a final effort. WARLIKE, outpaced in the early running, closed a big gap in the last half mile. TRITE retired after gcing five-eighths. FLINT had no mishaps and was eased up when beaten. EBONY BELLE, close up from the start, came fast through the stretch, but was held safe by the winner. KERRY GIRL Bet a fast pace for a half mile then tired. BY PLAY finished well. QUICK TIME closed a big gap. HIGH PRINCE was saved for the first half mile, then steadily improved his position when called on, and finishing under vigorous riding, would have won in another stride. TANGERINE made up ground in the las"t quarter and was going fast, and close up in the final strides. MISS CERINA set a fast early pace and tired in the stretch. EPISODE quit in the stretch. BRACADALH set a great pace from the start, but tired after going five-eighths in the lead. LADKIN away forwardly, saved ground on the turns and finished gamely. BONAPARTE was never able to improve his position. JYNTEE was crowded back in the first eighth, but worked her way up steadily and coming fast through the stretch wore THE ALMONER down, to win in the closing strides. THE ALMONER displayed a gcod order of speed, and raced DAYDUE into defeat, then took a clear lead in the stretch, but tired when challenged. MARIONETTE had a rough race, but finished gamely when clear, and outstayed STACY ADAMS. The latter raced forwardly to the last sixteenth, where he tired. GUELPH finished fast through the final eighth. DAYDUE set a fast early pace and tired badly.
