CASE OF JOCKEY H. GRAY LATONIA, Ky., Oct 23. On October 13th tho racing secretary at Latonia received a Avire signed Judge Joseph A. Murphy, stating that after- a careful investigation he had lifted the suspension of jockey II. Gray, the reinstatement to be effective immediately. The Latonia stewards thereupon permitted Gray to accept mounts. Today the stewards received word from Judge Murphy that no such action had been taken by him and the ruling against Gray still prevailed. It being evident, therefore, that the telegram was a forgery, the stewards cancelled Grays mounts for today, took up his badge and denied him the further privileges of the track.
