Won handily; second and third driving. ROYAL MISS, off forwardly, displayed speed in the going, and responding gamely when called on for a final effort, and taking the lead in the stretch, won going away. WATCH CHARM raced into the"lead in the stretch and tired, but finished gamely and outstayed LITTLE THISTLE. The latter moved up fast after entering the stretch, but tired in the closing strides. FLORENCE B. WALKER was in tight quarters most all the way and finished in behind the leaders. BLUE STREAK, off slowly, closed a big gap. COMEDY was very poorly ridden. Won ridden out; second and third driving. SCARE CROW, seeming favored by the going, raced into the lead on the backstretcli and held it resolutely to the end under hard riding. BESSIE LEIGHTON, raced close up, saved ground on the turns and had no mishap. SOVIET, off slowly, steadily improved his position while racing on the cut-bide and easily outfinished the others through the stretch. LANK showed speed for three-quarters. SUN MAIDEN made a game effort after entering the stretch, but tired in the last eighth. MISS MARCELLA raced forwardly for a half mile. NEGRINA quit badly in the stretch.
