MINUS was on the outside throughout, and made a game finish. BONA VERA closed a gap and finished close up. WAUKULLA showed early speed. Won handily; second and third driving. PETE FOY began slowly, but moved up fast on the outside while rounding the far turn and, finishing fast, raced into the lead in the stretch and won going away. CAP ROCK was always close up and finished well under hard riding. LORD WRACK suffered from slight interference, closed a gap and came fast when clear. FOSTER EMBRY tired after taking the lead in the stretch. THE LEOPARD was in close quarters on the far turn and was taken up. YIRGO set a fast early pace and quit badly. EASTER BELLS set a fast pace under slight restraint for the first quarter, then drew away from GLYN on the far turn, but had to be shaken up near the end to hold ANONYMOUS safe. The latter came fast next to the inner rail in the stretch, and was fast wearing the winner down. GLYN was much used in the racing with the leader and tired, but finished gamely. HICKMAN, then made a fast and game finish. DR. HICKMAN began quickly and set a great pace, but tired under his impost in the stretch. TEN-LEG outstayed LADY MADCAP at the finish.
