LATEST LATONIA GOSSIP Telegraphic advices were received from Col. Winn this morning that both Admiral Grayson, owner of My Own, and S. C. Hildreth, trainer of Zev, had agreed to run their three-year-olds in the Latonia Championship Stakes, to be run November 3. Having successfully accomplished his mission Col. Winn will now return to Kentucky, being due to arrive here Wednesday morning. Judging by the number of inquiries received from eastern owners and trainers regarding tho weights assigned their two-year-olds in the Queen City Handicap, to be run next Saturday, there will be a number of eastern contestants in the rich prize. S. C. Hildreth wanted to know tho weights that the six eligibles belonging to Harry F. Sinclair are asked to carry, and W. L. Powers was anxious to know the weight allotted Sun Pal. James Rowe desired to learn what weights tho IL P. Whitney candidates were allotted.
