v MARLBORO TURF NOTES I J. McPherson shipped his stable to New Orleans Wednesday morning. M. C. Moore disposed of Charles Henry to V. Carrigan on private terms. " E. E. "Watsons Dark Horse fell lame badly last evening and will be on the shelf for some time. Steeplechase jockey D. Byers accompanied the J. E. Widener stable yesterday to Ertl-heim, Pa. Montfort Jones, accompanied by E. H. "Snapper" Garrison, were visitors this afternoon from the Jones farm at Berryville, Va. C. O. Derossett shipped Harmonious and Honey Gal, the porperty of A. J. Wells, to Cleveland, Ohio, where they will be wintered. T. P. Hayes sold Moorfield to W. A. Mc-Kinney and Peppermint II. to Treacy and Walker. It McGarvey bought Bib Grass from W. Phillips. A, L, Austin left this morning for Tijuana with his own stable and two juveniles for Mrs. E. Wayland, which were recently purchased from J. S. Cosden. The fourth annual oyster roast given by the Southern Maryland Racing Association will be held at Bowie on Sunday. James F. GHara and G. D. Bryan are the hosts to newspaper men and other friends.
