ROMPING MARY was far back for the first half, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. CASH also made up ground and came with a rush through the last eighth. KINDRED raced into the lead, but began tiring In the last sixteenth. TEMPTING had no mishaps. GIUSEPPE set a fast pace and tired badly. SUNNY DUCROW, quit after going a half mile. The latter took the lead on the backstretch, but was raced into exhaustion in the first three-quarters and succumbed in the last twenty yards to MAKE UPS rush. BELZONI was away slowly and also closed a .big gap in the stretch. ALICE BLUE GOWN set the early pace and raced forwardly to the last eighth, where she tired. JIMMIE DAW tired in the last quarter.
