IIARAN was saved close up to the stretch turn, frcm where he came through fast on the inside into the lead to finish going away. ED GARRISON wore RIPOSTA down in the stretch and outgamed her at the end. The latter showed the most early speed, but was much used in racing FOY into defeat and tired. CLEM THEISEX came wide when entering the stretch, where he lost three or four lengths. - WALTKR WHITAKKR began slowly and was always far back. FOY ran a good half and quit. KUKIYA woiked her way up on the outside and, saving ground when entering the stretch, easily raced into the lead in the last eighth and was going away at the end. APRIL made a wide turn when J entering the stretch, but finished fast. GOLD LEAF began slowly, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. SUIEUAXNA quit in the last eighth. BESSIE GEUSIIEL bolted to the outside fence at : the head of the stretch, but finished with a rush. GREAT WAY set the pace to the stretch and quit : badly. WALTER TURNBOW moved up on the outside with a" rush while rounding the last turn, then cut across to the inside after entering the stretch and raced into a long lead. BLARNEY BOY was a forward , contender nil the way and had to be hard ridden in the last eighth to outiinish FELIX M. The latter 1 set the early pace and came fast after making a wide turn when entering the stretch. JAP MUMA ran I well. RITA B. was only cantering all the way. EL CORONKL raced well, but was tiring at the end and had to. be hard ridden to withstand the rush of GIPSY JOE. The latter was under restraint until ifl" the fast quarter, then closed a big gap and finished fast on the outside. FINANCIAL ROOSTKR quit after leading to "the stretch.
