THERESA ran A good race and appeared all over the winner when it sixteenth out, but could not withstand the winners challenge. OLLIE WOOD set a good pace ard raced surprisingly well. BILL McCLOY, after setting a fast pace, only succumbed right at the end. CLARKSON closed a big gap and finished with a rush. SWEEP UP tan well and finished gamely. NORFORD HONEY, FAITHFUL GIRL and MABEL KRIPP were running fast at the end. CHENOE showed speed. NAYARIT ran an excellent race and took a clear lead in the stretch, but could not withstand the winners rush. DOC HORN raced prominently and finished resolutely. QUEEN CATHERINE was outpaced, but raced well. KEEGAN quit after setting a fast early pace. .
