Won handily; second and third driving. FOXMORE, hard ridden at the start, raced into the lead with a rush and, setting a great , pace, held sway to the end, but finished doing his best. PAROLE II. began fast and ran well, but was eased up on both turns and finished gamely when ridden hard. RED SKTII closed a gap and finished . with a rush. BILL WINFREY ran well. JULIA M. began well and was saved under hard restraint and, after being interfered with in the first half mile, came fast in the stretch and got up to win in the final stride. BUCK POND took the lead at once and set a fast pace to the homestretch and "outstayed LONGBOAT for second place. The latter raced into the lead in the last eighth after saving much ground on the last turn, but tired near the end. JOHN JOSEPH had no mishaps. ROUND ROBIN ran a good race. LUGS and LORENA MARCELLIA were pracically left at the post. QUEEN CHARMING showed fine speed in fast pacemaking, but began tiring near the end. DREAMER made up ground and finished fast and gamely. EVERGLADE ran well, but tired. FRANKMAN. practically left, finished gamely after closing an immense gap. LESTER DOCTOR tired badly. DUCKY was never prominent. Won easily; second and third driving. THE ROLL CALL took the lead at once and making the pace fast stood a hard drive thrcugh the stretch and held sway for the entire race. THIMBLE was badly outpaced from the start, butfinished fast and got up in the last stride for second place, by virtue of ground she saved on the stretch turn. BARRACUDA was best, but lost much ground by being ridden wide on the turns and suffered from interference in the stretch. WATER GIRL dropped back early and came fast through the stretch. MADAM VENNIE closed a big gap. FEIIRAH set the early pace and quit. REDWOOD tired. RUBY and LOVELINESS quit. RUNQUOI retired after going a half mile when he e fell lame.
