COLONEL WEST DESTROYED LAUREL, Md., Nov. 20. II. G. Bedwcll, who has been wintering his horses here, recently lost the three-year-old colt Colonel "West, a son of Marathon Brynwood, by Bryn Mawr, that won four races last year. The colt broke his leg and had to be destroyed.
