Wen driving; second and third the same. WAR WINNER was hard ridden from the start and. standing a long and hard stretch drive, outstayed HARRIGANS HEIR in a fast finish. HARRIGANS HEIR was much used in paccmaking and tired near the end, although finishing gamely. NEG made up ground and did his best. NORFOU1 HONEY was prominent to the last sixteenth, where he tired. FIESTA closed a big gap from a poor beginning. LAST GIRL showed speed, but failed to stay. WYLIE began fast and, showing the most speed, set the pace under restraint to the last turn, where he raced into a long lead to win in a canter. SPORTSMAN made a game finish, easily outstayinjr ZING. The latter was forced to race cn the outside throughout and ran a good race. MORRO CASTLE, after forcing t he pace, was inclined to run out when turning for home and tired finally. Won driving; second and third the same. NEBRASKA LAD, a forward contender from the start, answered to hard riding in the stretch and, wearing HYANPOM down, outliniwlied him at the end. HYANPOM, after being reserved well, back, raced into the lead after turning for home and finished stubbornly, but gave way to the winner right at the end. TEN CAN, after racing LOUANNA into defeat, took the lead on the last turn, but was no match for the first two when challenged. LADY LILLIAN was going extremely fast at the end. MANNI-KIN II. was prominent to the last eighth, where he tired. LOUANNA, after setting the early pace, quit badly.
