FAIR GROUNDS NOTES Golden Billows was claimed for ,000 by F. A. Tansor. Shamrock and Old Sinner have been placed on the schooling list by starter Snyder. Privilege, Chaperone and Sir Glen have been added to the schooling list by starter Snyder. A. J. Plaque will train Mormon Elder for his races in the future it became known today. Jockeys J. Rutwell and G. Cooper depart Thursday with the Wm. Daniel stable for Tijuana. James Ellis of Owensboro, Ky., and who formerly raced a stable of horses, stopped off here today en route home from Havana. F. C. Rriggs, who left here last December for Culver City, Cal., is an arrival with Moon Winks, Granny Lee and Gesundheit. Times Up, a starter in the third race, ran in the interest of S. N. Holman, the purchase having been made just before post time. Jockey H. Thurber is an arrival from Tijuana and probably will ride here as a free lance for the remainder of the season. Thirty-four were excluded from Thursdays card, only one being dropped from the maiden dash for three-year-olds and over. H. E. Rrown, who has a stable of horses quartered at the Fair Grounds, has returned from a hurried trip to his home at Tulsa, Okla. James F. OHara. the sprinter belonging to tho Kirkfield Stable, worked a half mile around the "dogs" during tho forenoon in 50-5 seconds. Jockey Abel is confined to the Presbyterian Hospital because of the silver plates on each side of his leg having worked loose. The boy was badly crippled last summer. Following jockey Robinsons riding exhibition on Biff Rang the stewards notified owner Livingston and the jockey to appear before them tomorrow at 1 p. m. for an interview. Dr. Hamlet Moore, the track veterinarian, also was instructed to make a report on Biff Hangs condition.
