JOYMAKER was outrun to the stretch turn, where he was taken to the outside and, finishing fast, cutgamed MONOPOLY in the final drive. MONOPOLY raced well and outgamcd WILTON FLANNA at the end. BALLYNEW raced gamely, but tired after making a threatening challenge in the last eighth. FOXTAIL closed a gap and finished fast. AL THOMAS ran well to the head of the stretch, then quit. LUSTRE ran close up to the last eighth. The latter set the pace, but was much used in the first half la racing STOCK PIN into defeat and tired badly near the end. LOTTIE LORAINE closed a big gap and finished fast in the middle of the track. The bandage on STOCK PINS front leg slipped down while he was running fast. ZOONA ran well.
