MARY DEAR showed the most speed from a fast beginning and finished gamely, but tired near the end. FOXMORE was ridden wide, but finished gamely and probably was best. RILL WINFREY crmc with a rush near the end. BROWN TROUT ran well. ANTICIPATE raced in closest pursuit all the way and was gaining rapidly at the end. ETTA UK began slcwly, but closed a big gap and finished fastest of all. FIFTY-FIFTY ran well to the stretch, but began tiring in the last eighth. FAR EAST ran puprlr DAN ROLLING was knocked out of any chance in the hrst quarter. HUMBOLDT was always outrun. ANNE saved much ground cn the stretch turn and, under hard riding, outstayed VERA VENNIE. The latter was rushed into a good lead soon after the start, but came wide on the stretch turn and tired in the stretch. NORSELAND had no mishaps. JULIA M. began badly and ran as if unlit.
