Schorrs stable that has been racing at Kansas Gty will leave the Missouri town for Hawthorne today in charge of trainer Joe Hawkins. The string that was at Worth in charge of trainer Tauber left for Latonia last night. J. S. Bratton was fined 00 by the Delmar Park officials today when he failed to substantiate his charges that jockey Troxler pulled his filly, Media Jane, in the second race. The officials probed the case thoroughly and could find no evidence of fraud in the race. Media Jane was leading the field when Troxler says ; I ; ■ he was forced to take her up, as she started to bear out, getting into the worst going. Dick Welles is all right again and is gal* loping at Latonia. Respess says that he will be especially prepared for the Worlds Fair Handicap at St. Louis, and that it is doubtful if he will be started in any race during the Latonia meeting. A rumor Is in circulation to the effect that an agent of August Belmont is negotiating with David Holland for the purchase of the Aqueduct track, with a view of closing it to make room for Belmont Park. David Holland says that he saw Mr. Belmont recently and that nothing was said about the purchase of the track. Mr. Holland values his holdings in the property at 00,000, and says that the stock in the hands of the five heirs of the late Thomas Reilly will exceed his interest. The Reilly heirs are all women, and it is understood that they are not anxious to retain the stock. ■ • ,
