J, 0 C r BLUE BONNETS STATISTICS Winners and Other Details of Montreal Jockey Clubs Most Successful Spring Meeting. 2 2 • What was declared, on all sides, the most 4 successful meeting ever held at Blue Bon-nets, were the seven days of spring racing ° held under the auspices of the Montreal Jockey Club from June 5 to June 12. A total 9,870, a daily average of ,552, was ? distributed in stakes and purses. A. C. Bostwick was the most successful of the owners participating in the racing, his horses accounting for four races and ,920. i The Seagram Stable won three races and ,260, while the division that J. K Madden 2 racing in Canada, was victorious in four 3 races and earned ,070. 1 Of the horses seen under colors at Blue Bonnets Spot Cash, because of his triumph 5 the Windsor Hotel Cup, was the largest money winner and Joy Smoke, with three 6 victories to his credit, was the runner up in that respect. J. W. Healy and S. M. Henderson tied for the training honors, each with four winners, while J. Wallace continued the sensational form he has shown in the saddle all spring by riding the largest number of winners.
