REBUS outfinished BRUSH ALL. The latter tired after following the pacemakers closely. The other two never were forward contenders. WATCH CHARM began fast and followed STAR COURT closely until in the last eighth, where lie took the lead and won drawing clear. ARRAGOSA gained gradually aiound the last turn and was going fastest of all at the end. STAR COURT set a good pace and saved ground on all the turns, but tired when challenged. ORALEGGO was outrun early, but finished well. AVISPA lost much ground on the turn into the stretch and ran a bad race. Sctatched — 79135 Pedestrian. 93: 80157 Cordelier. 102. MILL GATE was away slowly, but responded gamely to hard riding in the stretch and held CONSCRIPT safe at the end. CONSCRI1T moved up in the stretch, but was headed by MILT, GATE in the last sixteenth. PETER PIPER showed high speed in pacemak-ing, but quit badly. DR. CHARLES WELLS was running fast at the end. CORAL REEF raced in nearest pursuit all the way and finished gamely, although tiring slightly. HEEI,TAPS lost much ground on the last turn, but was gaining slowly on the leaders at the end. DEPlTY, away slowly, was rushed up to a contending position when Hearing the last turn, but came wide and tired in the final sixteenth.
