j WHEELING STATISTICS The Wheeling Jockey Cluhs spring meeting was run for ten days, from June 4 to June 14, and during the ten days of racing 75 races were run and 8,5C0 distributed among the horsemen. C. N. Freeman, with ,870 : H. T. Palmer, with ,700, J. A. Parson, with ,620. and W. A. McKinney, with ,600, were the most successful of the owners taking part in the meeting. Jolly won the most among the horses. The training honors fell to J. A. Parson, and L.. Montgomery rode the largest number of winners, leading the jockeys with ten victories.
