CLOUDLANI began well, but was forced to come on the outside after leaving the elbow and finished resolutely through the final eighth. BLENNKRHASSRTT raced on the inside throughout and showed the most early speed, but tired badly in the final eighth. HALF PINT ran well. Scratched — Nicholas, 110. OUTLINE, beginning from the extreme outside, forced a great pace and, passing NEGRINA in the stretch, withstood a challenge from AVISACK and held her lead resolutely in the final drive. AVISACK began quickly, but met with early interference, then closed up resolutely when clear and was going fast at the end. OHONB was a forward contender from the start and finished gamely. NELLIE MORSE closed a big gap from a slow beginning. EAGERNESS finished well. NEGRINA quit badly after setting a fast pace to the last turn. Scratched — 79737 Yankee Princess, 102. ESCOBA DORO began slowly, but worked her way np steadily and, coming fast from the head of the stretch, got up to win in the final stride. SUNCAR ran a good race, but was much used in making the pace and tired in the final drive. BUCK POND set the early pace, but lost ground in the stretch. PASSPORT finished resolutely on the inside. WORTHMORE raced in closest pursuit and made a challenge in the stretch, but could not reach the winner and was eased up in the final seventy yards. BILLY WARREN was always outpaced, but came fast on the outside in the stretch and closed up some ground. RESOLUTION finished well. SHERMAN ran a good three-quarters and quit. WAR MASK began slowly, but slipped through on the inside on the stretch turn after having closed a big gap finished with a rush. WATER GIRL was forced wide on the turn, but finished gamely. DESPAIR made a game challenge at the eighth post, but tired. JAUNEBAR showed the most early speed, but quit. KEENAN ran well. SAVOY pulled up very lame. The latter was forced wide at the elbow, but responded gamely to hard riding and was wearing the winner down at the end. EXTRA DRY was in close quarters next to the rail near the eighth post. ZEPHYRETTA closed a gap and finished well. MARGARET ST. L and IMAGINATION showed early speed. WITCH II ROOM ran well. Scratched— 80233 Ultimately. 112. Overweight — Wattle, 1 pound.
