FAIR LATONIA DAILY TURF GOSSIP AT NOTED KENTUCKY TRACK LATONIA. Ky., June 20. W. V. Thraves, breeder and owner, was a visitor at Latonia this afternoon. Jockey W. Kelsays ten days suspension expired and he resumed riding this afternoon. Jockey J. Pevic was unable to fill his riding engagements during the afternoon on accounts of bruises received by being thrown from Neat Girl the previous day. Walter O. Parmer, secretary of the Windsor Jockey Club, was a visitor today, stopping over en route from Nashville, Tenn., to Windsor, Ont. Wash Norvell, racing secretary of the Kenilworth Park track in Canada, was also an arrival, distributing condition books and stake blanks of the meeting. Entries to the stakes close Saturday, June 21. Milton Smith bought privately from J. B. Respess the two-year-old Sweet Note and from C. Van Dusen the two-year-old Free Mason. Both were shipped Thursday night with the S. N. Holman consignment to Devonshire, where they will be raced. — =i
