Won easily; second and third driving. WILD GOOSE began quickly and, showing the most speed, won all the way. JESSAMINE, away well and clear of interference, came with a rush through the stretch and outgamed CUE-RACK in the final strides. The latter began from the extreme outside, but closed a big gap from the extreme outside and made a challenge nt the eighth post, but tired finally. LOUVERNB raced well throughout. VOX POPULI II. showed the most speed over the jumps and, racing into a safe lead, held It well and outstayed BECK in the final drive. The latter moved up resolutely when going to the final Jump, but blundered slightly, then recovered quickly and was going fast at the end. SEA SERPENT jumped well from the start, but tired badly from forcing the pace. JIM COFFROTH showed early speed nnd had no mishaps. DECISIVE could never get up. FANE LADY fell at the seventh jump. SWOPE steadily improved his position next to the inner rail and, having a clear course through the final sixteenth, finished with a rush and got up to win in the final "strides. SINGLE FOOT i closed a big gap and, after passing NOAH, tired in the final strides. NOAH set a fast pace from the start and raced SUNSARD to defeat, but tired near the end. NICHOLAS closed a gap resolutely, txit was in close quarters in the final seventy yards. YOUNG MARTIN came with a rush at the end. CRUMPLE was on the outside all the way. TRIP LIGHTLY closed up some ground. ELF was in extremely close quarters in the final sixteenth and stumbled and went down. VOLTAIC fell over her. MAD PLAY found a clear course on the inside in the first eighth and, passing ItlALTO in the first half mile, drew away into a good lead, but was shaken up near the end to outfinish AGA KHAN. The latter was close up from the start under slight restraint and came" fast and gamely through the stretch. DESPERATE DESMOND ran a good race from the start and was in close quarters licxt to the rail in the final eighth and finished with a rush when clear. DUNLIN moved up with a xush on the outside in the stretch, then tired. KLONDYKE was as good as left and closed a big gap jon the inside. SUNSINI made up ground. TEN MINUTES had no mishaps. MINTO II was much used in racing BYRON into defeat and, racing into the lead in the stretch, tired badly when chal- lenged. GRAY GABLES raced well from the start, but also was tiring at the finish. NEGOCIATEUR finished fast. BYRON set a good pace, but was made too much use of and tired.
