JUNE FLY was taken back and saved, but moved up fast on the outside on the turn into the homestretch and in a hard drive, caught BONA FIDE to win, drawing clear. BONA FIDE raced into the lead and made a game but tiring finish. MALLOWMOT was much the best of the others. FITZ-RUE and PUFF BALL quit. DELLAHM was fractious at the barrier and sulked. Won driving; second and third the same. ROYAL DICK followed the early leaders close up and raced into the lead in the stretch, but was forced to a hard drive to outstay ZANZIBAR. The latter, outrun early, came with a rush, but was forced to overcome slight interference in the stretch and would have probably won in a few more strides. SEA-WOLF was always close up and finished gamely. MISS ETTA finished well. BOAVSPRIT and KIRK DRESS closed gaps. PEPPER TEA set the pace to the last eighth, but quit.
