SPENCER APPEALS HIS CASE LATONIA, Ivy., June 28. Secretary Sherwood of the Kentucky State Racing Commission arrived at Latonia, to remain for the balance of the meeting. He stated that the next meeting of the racing commission would bo held at the Latonia . clubhouse, July 3, at 12 noon, and that among other matters to come before the commission would be the appeal of Jess Spencer from the ruling against him and his horses by the Latonia stewards. Spencer has sent secretary Sherwood notice of the appeal.
