HAWTHORNES 1925 DATES The Chicago Business Mens Racing Association today announced that its 1925 meeting would open Thursday, July 2, and continue to Monday, September G Labor Day, making fifty-eight days of racing. It further announced that the Chicago Derby, to be run Saturday, July 11, would have an added value of 0,000, that the renewal of the Chicago Special, a mile and three-sixteenths, with 5,000 added, would be run Saturday, August 22 and that the Independence Handicap to be run July 4 and the Labor Day Handicap to be run Labor Day would have added values of ,500, that there would be no purse less than ,000 and that there would be attractive features to be announced later, including the Edgewater Beach Hotel Handicap, which will have a liberal endowment
