Won easily; second and third driving. CASTLEREAGH raced into the lead when approaching the stretch turn and drew away to win as his rider pleased. BELLE FLOWER raced up into a contending position quickly, but was doing her best at the end to save second place. CHARLES J. .CRAIGMTE gained steadily in the stretch and finished well. DR. SHAFER closed up much ground from a slow becinuing and was going fast on the inside at the end. WAR MAP was partly turned sideways and avd into BELLE FLOWER at the start, which ruined his chances. PLAID displayed the most early speed, but tired in the last quarter. DOUBLE SHOT was shuffled back at the start and never recovered. CAPTAIN EVANS pulled up lame.
