TWO OUTSTANDING STAKES Latonia Cup and Fort Thomas Handicap Stellar Attractions at Latonia Saturday. LATONIA, Ky., Sept 25. The ?10,000 added Latonia Cup at two and a quarter miles and the ?5,000 added Fort Thomas Handicap, for two-year-olds will be the headliners on the high-class program to be offered at Latonia Saturday. The Cup which was won last year by Chacolet in a sensational race should prove an interesting battle with E. F. Simms My Play, C. Bruce Heads Altawood, and E. R. Bradleys Bob Tail, the chief contenders but of a field of seven or more. The Fort Thomas, won last year by Chil-howee and in other years by Betty Bea, Miss Joy and Rangoon is one of the most popular of the Latonia features for juveniles. It will attract the best of the two-year-old colts and fillies, handicapped according to their performances. The probable starters are : Sweep Park, Pas Seul, Rothermel, Kentucky Cardinal, Brown Sugar, Buttin In, Blue Warbler, Lee O. Cotner, Twilight Hour, The Smasher, Mark Master, Menifee, Su-premus.
