LATONIAS GRAND PROGRAM High-Class Fields Named in Latonia Cup and Fort Thomas Handicap to Be Run Today. LATONIA CUP FIELD P.P. Horso. Wt. Jockey. . t Wild Life 100 M. Garner 2 Bob Tail 109 B. Blind 3 My Play 128 A. Schuttinger I Victoire 108 n. Stutts 3 Altawocd Ill . McDermott LATONIA, Ky., Sept 26. The most attractive card of the Latonia meeting has been arranged at the Milldale course for Saturday afternoon and if the Jockey Club is favored with fine weather the attendance should be of immense proportions and those who wend their way to the course will be well repaid for the afternoon. The Latonia Cup, at two miles and a quarter, would be in itself a splendid drawing card. It is supplemented by the Fort Thomas Handicap, which will prove almost as attractive an event as the long distance cup affair. The Latonia Cup has attracted only five entries of which the Lexington Stables invader from the East, My Play, five-year-old brother to Man o War, is easily the outstanding aspirant for the rich prize and the handsome gold cup. Twenty-two of the cream of the two-year-old division have been named for the Fort Thomas Handicap but it is likely" that only about sixteen will face the barrier. It is a brilliant aggregation and the best field named in any two-year-old race in Kentucky this year.
