GLORY raced into the lead soon after the start and won well under restraint. BLACK DINAH followed the leader closest all the way, but could never overtake her. SIR RALPH, slow to begin, closed a big gap and lan a good race. BAY DINGLE met interference soon after the start and closed an immense gap when he recovered. NANS FORTUNE ran an even race. HALKI unseated her rider "when she stumbled soon after the start. Won easily; second and third driving. POLLYMARA opened up a commanding lead after going a quarter and was never in danger thereafter. PINCH O SNUFF followed the pacemaker all the way, but was no match for the winner and was doing her best to be second. MISS FORTUNE, badly outpaced in the early running, came fast through the stretch and would have been second in another stride. SEQUEL closed some ground in the stretch run. Won driving; second and lliird the same. JOHNNY JEWELL, much the best, came around his opponents at the stretch turn and just got up in the final stride. FABER, well up all the way, saved ground at the stretch turn, went into the lead, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. LUCKY DOLLAR set a good pace to the stretch where he tired. HOLLY BOY, racing close to the leader all the way. closed gamely and got up in the final stride to take third. RAPID STRIDE quit after going a half mile. Scratched S357C Good Morning, 100. DOUBLE T. went to the front scon after the start and set a good pace to well into the stretch, where he hung on gamely after being passed by the winner. LUGS raced close up to the pacemaker and tired in tlio final strides. ST. MARTINS ran with four bandages and his was a dull race. DIVERSITY was always outrun. Scratched 84055 Yorick.
