ENGLISH STOCK ARRIVES NEW YORK, -N. Y., Oct. 2. Major Sven Christensen, owner of the Meadowbrook Stock Farm at Pleasanton, Calif., arrived in New York Monday to receive the ten thoroughbreds consigned to him, which arrived during that day from England aboard the Atlantic Transport liner, Minnetonka. The shipment included Bomba, winner of the Ascot Gold Cup, which is by Carbine St. Neophyte, by St Simon ; the Great Metropolitan winner, Langdon, by Troutbeck Proud Beauty, by Upstart, and young mares by Lemonora, Fariman and Myram. The horses will be shipped to California.
