VOOGERIA raced in closest pursuit all the way, but was in close quarters all through the last eighth and might have won with a clear course. HICKMAN, off slowly, raced in nearest pursuit all the way but LADY lOX had too much advantage at the start and he could not overcome it. PETER J made tin omp ground in the stretch. SPORTIBOY ran well. FLIBBERTYGIB15ET was forced to pull up in the stretch when he was going fast. DARNLEY ran away below his true form.
