KEENE BROS. YEARLINGS LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct 2. Jack and Ham Keene spent last Sunday at Louisville, where they disregarded the mud .and tried out twelve of their yearlings eleven fillies and one colt the latter being by War Star Yellow Blossoms, by Luke McLuke. He and the filly by Pagan Pan Cocotte, worked an eighth in :11 and went the quarter in :25. Two Short Grass fillies worked In :25, the first eighth in :12. Two English fillies, one by Sunbright and the other by John o Gaunt, worked an eighth in :12. A Pagan Pan filly and an Assagai filly worked in :12, the three-sixteenths in :18and. A filly by Kiang-Su and another by Juggernaut worked in :12and and eased out the quarter in :27. C. B. Shaffers Nome filly and John Markeys Sea Sick filly worked an eighth in :12, the quarter in :2G, It is a part of the plan of the brothers Keene that some of these youngsters will go to the races at New Orleans after January 1.
